Not the best book I've read, but not the worst either. It was okay, but not really good enough for me to follow up on this series. There wasn't very much character development, or plot development, or even a real storyline to follow. I mean, basically Alexa meets Jackson. He's a rock star and want her to come on a month long European tour with him to wrote an exclusive expose on him and what its really like to be a rock star. They share a very tiny bit of their pasts, but that's about it. All of a sudden she is head over heels in love with him, after day 2 of the tour they sleep together, then his old band mate and supposedly ex lover shows up, tries to insiuate herself in his life, this causes problems for Alexa...they solve them fairly quickly...seriously, nothing really happens...then they go back to screwimg each other, and then they love each other and that's it. book over. Not terrible, good concept, but wasn't a very satisfying read either. A girl who is preppy and stuck up who is so ambitious that she lets her life slip by. A guy who is carefree and trapped by his profession that he is looking for a way out. When they meet it is like the Fourth of July. Alexa is looking for her big break. She works for a music magazine but has no creative outlet to freely tell her stories. That is when Jackson comes on and presents her an opportunity of a lifetime. To be his story teller she is going to have to get out of her comfortable lifestyle and be a carefree as he is. As she starts crossing the line and developing feelings for him she realizes that he is not the man he presents to millions of people he is more than he appears. As their story unfolds we see how complicated their life is and the future that may not happen without compromise. The chemistry is hot and at certain points I am so drawn into the story I didn't even know the story ended. I was blindly led and not known what happened. Rock On!!!
