When it starts like this is will be one wild ride and that it was.Goldie has had a rough life the past few years. Working as a waitress at Kitten's Castle, a nose dive strip club, trying to dig herself out of the debt left by her parents. Hurricane Katrina destroyed her life in more ways than one. Jett Colby owns the Lafayette Club, where high powered men come to blow off steam. Billionaire playboy that loves to play. The Jett Girls are elite. They will take the most influential man to his knees and leave him begging, but Do Not Touch. Only one person is allowed to touch a Jett Girl. This is FSOG esque but so much more. I adored Goldie! I laughed, I got angry and I changed my panties. Not only does the Lafayette Club have stunning women, the men will leave your tongue dragging and have you wiping off the drool!Sent from my iPad Having read comments before starting the book, I was convinced I was in for a real treat of belly laughs. Sadly, not so for me. I loved the premise of the storyline, but for me it lacked a connection between the main characters. I expected a 'rags to riches' ending, but Goldie remained the foul-mouthed 'rags' that didn't quite fit Jett's sophistication. There wasn't enough 'romance', I felt that is where the story could have been developed more. I also thought there would be more of a development around the land that Jett was fighting for, it would have been wonderful to see his dream come to fruition.I found it odd how much emphasis was put on Kace's feelings towards Goldie. I hope he gets his own book, he deserves a happy ending.
