After reading the summary, one would think that the book’s subject has already been written and that is true. However, Becoming his muse is very unique, despite the story’s lack of originality.There’s this special aura of quality and meaning throughout the book. Every sentence and every phrase that come from Logan’s mouth has meaning and depth. Every sentence and every word that come from Ava’s mouth has emotion, truthfulness and passion behind them.The book is nothing but intense and unique in its own way. Like I said before, each and every dialogue is meaningful and passionate and deep, while the characters are well-developed; yet we know we have so much more to learn about them. It’s a very thin line that KC Martin expertly handles with ease. Another thin line, probably the thinnest of them all, is that KC Martin maintains a great deal of hotness and quality in the book. It’s quite remarkable to be able to write not only a good book full of sexy scenes, but a good book with a philosophy behind it, with knowledge and maturity.I have to say that I liked Part 1 more, because I found it more challenging and more intellectual. I enjoyed Logan and Ava’s bantering and I liked their disagreements. Those existed in Part 2 as well, but not in the same way and degree they existed in Part 1. Thus Part 1 was better, in my opinion.Besides that, both parts are equal in quality and everything I personally value in a book. It’s a series worth trying out. Ava the daughter of well to do parent's who expect her to make something of herself and Art is not what they were thinking. She wants to break away from her parent's mold and do her own thing. She barters and wagers for subjects to draw and little does she know that sitting in a reading with her friend she would become a subject herself. Logan O'Shane is the cocky, yet adorable prof that all the girls are throwing themselves at his feet for any type of chance they can get to be with him. Ava, does not fall for his act. She thinks he's so full of it and himself. Although, she can't deny that he is attractive. I'm glad that Ava was strong and didn't throw herself at Logan the second he showed an interest in her and was honest and told him what she thought. Ava finally gives into her wants and finds out what all the other girls want to know. Unfortunately, the little green monster grabs a hold of Ava and she is bothered by all of the attention the other female students. Now the task of finding a place to be together and keeping everything a secret.
