If you like action and sexy men who are crazy about their women, you’ll love this series. Christi and I have one thing in common for sure. We like to see a common bond of family and friendship between characters. That theme is carried through the ”Operation” Series. Even with everything they go through, they stand together and that was important to all of them. Super sexy, super HOT!!! Christi’s books read like Die Hard movies! I love those! I was lucky enough to get to read this before it's released, and can I just say...it's the PERFECT little novella to keep you satisfied until Endurance releases in couple months! Chris and Julie...oh my. This book is pure foreplay, to get your warmed up and ready for the steamy couple's full story! It may be ".5" in the series, but it's probably best to read it right after Endeavor. You see a bit of them in Endeavor, and there is some awkwardness there. I couldn't wait to find out why, and in this book, you'll find out why!;) Christi is just an amazing author. The way she writes really pulls you into the story, feeling like a part of this amazing cast of characters. I've become so emotionally invested in the whole crew, that it saddens me to think that the series is almost over! It takes an amazing author to create that kind of love for fictional characters, and Christi does just that. Due to circumstances in her past, Julie has become a bit OCD in life and has a little incident. After said incident, Julie's sister urges her to make some changes in her life, even if these changes are only temporary. Julie takes this advice to heart reinvents herself. Gone are the days of the timid, mousy, OCD Julie and in are the days of the vixen! Enter Chris. He's about to leave on a deployment and thought he'd stop in and say goodbye to twin sister Cassie first. Finding Cassie gone and Julie in Cassie's house instead... I won't spoil anything that happens, so you just need to pick up this saucy little novella and find out what happens for yourself! A real pleasure to read and I HIGHLY recommend it, and the rest of the series to anyone who loves a man in uniform, a little suspense, and a whole lot of sexy!!
