I believe that I love this book even more than the first one. The book picks up two years from the end of the last one,David and Murdo run into one another while being fitted for the Kings visit to Edinburgh and once again we are immersed in politics, historical events and not a mystery this time, but a rescue. Loved it. I was on the edge of my seat during moments in this book!My only complaint is that I have to wait until May for the next one. Right! I have already pre-ordered Book 3. This series is fantastic. It's all action/adventure, aristocracy, paupers, solicitors, advocates, and romance.I love it. The plot is first class, the sex is there for all those readers that like their m/m sex descriptively written (not too much of it though. Enough to satisfy). The two characters are just adorable. Mr Darcy meets Gabriel Oak, well as I envisage them anyway.Exceptionally well written. Five well deserved stars.
