Believe In What You're Doing; Believe In Who You Are (2008) - Plot & Excerpts

A tiny gem of a book. I love all of Hilary Weeks music. She has such a musical gift. The words to her music is especially beautiful. This little book has some profound little thoughts. Here are a few of my favorites:"Scripture study is like cinnamon. It doesn't take very much cinnamon to flavor a whole recipe and make it taste good. It takes just a little scripture study to make our whole day good. Heavenly Father knows we don't have hours to spend studying each day. He will magnify the effort we make. He will teach us and fill us with power as we dedicate time each day to studying and pondering His word.""..Believe that your name, your life, your circumstances and concerns are known to the Savior and that He speaks of you to the Father daily." I ordered this book from Amazon and was surprised to open the package and see how incredibly small this book is! You could easily read it in a half-hour. I read just one or two short chapters a night to have an inspiring thought before going to bed. I've loved Hilary Weeks ever since she did a TOFW in San Antonio several years ago. That was the first time I heard any of her music, which I loved. I enjoyed this book, and how it inspires you to be a better person and focus on keeping your priorities straight, I just wish it had been a little longer and had each insight expanded on a bit more. But still a good, inspiring little book.
