I really liked Jeremy and Carson. Especially Jeremy! :3And the way Carson wanted to protect and keep Jeremy alive, and vice versa, and yet still being on the 'cop' part was amazing. He's definitely not just on one side. The downparts: It would have been better if the writer wrote more about their relationship (them being brothers) because isn't that an important point of the story as well? the criminal and the cop being brothers. Though this is just my opinion. I just wanted them to have more interaction with each other especially now that Jeremy is 'outside'.And at most part, it was predictable. It is very easy to see how things would go. A really good crime thriller and an original concept compared to some of the same old same old crime novels that are out there. The main character was very likable and a refreshing change to the one dimensional cliched characters that you usually find investigating the crimes in these type of books. A few spelling mistakes in the text though but I can overlook that. One little moan is that the end wasn't the climax that it could have been. I haven't read any of the other books in this series though and I'm not sure if I'll get round to. But still a very enjoyable read on its own.
