What a delightful short story; slim, cheeky dance student Naill can't believe his luck in landing big, bad policeman Dan, but can he keep the man? Naill is full of insecurities having suffered abuse as a child and fears that as Dan learns more of his twists and kinks the big man will dump him; but it will take the ultimate indignity for Naill to realise the truth. One can't but be attracted to the adorable Naill even if he is a trifle flighty and self-doubting. Dan clearly loves Naill's dance-trained body, and is not fearful of demonstrating his protective nature towards this lithe and sensuous terpsichorean. Together they make a perfectly balanced pair, with Naill submitting gleefully to Dan's increasingly adventurous explorations of his body, and Dan becoming ever more attuned to what delights his young man. The writing is consummately assured and achieves just the right tone for the subject, the fluid prose reads with silky ease. The erotic scenes are well pitched and tantalising being neither overdrawn nor unnecessarily prolonged. If you get the idea that I'm rather taken with this story you maybe have the right impression. A well written story with a lot of sex scenes, too many for my taste. I almost gave up, but towards the end it became more interesting with the hurt/comfort thing happening. The story had some depth in the midst of all the sex, but I guess it was too little for me. And the cross-dressing theme really isn't of interest to me, although I can see the beauty. Still, it's hard for me to grasp that somebody, male or female, really wants to wear lacy lingerie, and for example high heels (which weren't mentioned here). I won't of course take off any stars just because the cross-dressing theme wasn't so interesting to me personally, but I really would've hoped for more content other than sex. Still, it was a nice read.
