A FATEFUL JOURNEY TO LOVE !!!A few weeks ago, I was offered the opportunity to read an ARC of Billionaire Badboy in exchange for an honest review. Unfortunately, the book slipped through the cracks and was accidentally overlooked - until today. I discovered my error late this afternoon and immediately began reading hoping to somehow muddle my way through the entire novel by tomorrow afternoon. After the first few pages I stopped reading. I simply could not believe my eyes. I hurried to the kitchen and opened a bottle of wine and quickly returned to Ms Kenzie's novel. It certainly didn't take long for me to realize that Sophia Kenzie is quite blessed with an enormous wealth of talent but it's her incredible skill and unique style that really drew me in, captured my complete attention and held me within the pages of her book, totally entranced by each word. I simply could not stop reading. Every time I tried to put it down, only moments later I found myself compelled to pick it up and resume reading. After reading the blurb for this book, I was convinced that it's probably not my cup of tea but was I ever WRONG! A few hours and an entire bottle of wine later, I've reached the conclusion that this is one of the best books I've read in a long time. The story is original, powerful, exciting, unusual, smart, well developed, thrilling, enticing, hypnotic, romantic, arousing and sensual. The dialog is intelligent, witty, well written, sometimes humorous and flows smoothly and effortlessly. The characters are fascinating, captivating, engaging, endearing, relatable, sassy and sexy. Kenzie has expertly combined these elements to create a masterpiece of contemporary romance that will tease, tantalize, entertain and satisfy your senses. At times, it was laugh out loud funny but it was also deep, intense, enriching, hopeful and unbelievably sad. OMG! I sobbed like a baby! I went through half a box of tissues. I don't believe in spoilers but I will give you a little preview of what to expect. Handsome, sexy, billionaire badboy/playboy-check! Beautiful, intelligent, saucy reporter-check! Drama, betrayal, blackmail, and intrigue-check! Star-crossed lovers, romance, sex and a very healthy dose of angst-check! That and a whole lot more! This was my first time reading Ms Kenzie's work but it certainly won't be the last. Don't walk, run to purchase Billionaire Badboy by Sophia Kenzie - you will never regret it! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!
ARC provided by author in exchange for honest reviewI was a bit disappointed with this book I thought it would have been so good but it was just ok now I will say it got better as the story went on which was good The story was about ashley who was a journalist an wrote a column about the billionaire bad boy teddy an he is just totally gorgeous as soon as teddy saw ashley he wanted her but ashley as so much sass she would give him a run 4 his money the column Ashley wrote was about teddys bad boy ways she would follow he around an write what she saw but teddy dad was not happy about this an wanted her sorted but his dad did know that they were fallin 4 each other there was something between them from the start an then when they finally hooked up it was hot Things got on there way at every turn an they wouldn't c each other 4 yrs but everytime they got 2gether there sexual chemistry was of the hook I just wanted them 2 get 2gether an there HEA I did like the way the book was wrote it ws good but I thouht it dragged out in part but the more the book went on the story got better I did enjoy the characters I luvd teddy U would never know what was goin on with him he was so strong but the secrets he was hard were horrible my heart when out 2 him an Ashley wanted 2 help but him but he just got scared an he would wreck it that is way I wanted 2 slap him Overall the book was good cover was hot but couldn't give it more than 3 stars xxx
What do You think about Billionaire Badboy (2015)?
I received a copy from ARC for an honest review. The book started off a little slow to me and it kept switching back and forth. I did however really enjoy it. Ashley was kind of annoying in the fact that she would not stop writing material about Teddy in the paper. It was her job yes, but she wanted to stay close and get to know him. As in every book the further you read the more you understand. I felt bad for Teddy and even worse when I remembered that in the synopsis Teddy says that he will already be dead before being able to tell Ashley how he really feels. The very end of the book had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see how it would really end. This was a quick read that kept my attention with the twists.
