READ IN ENGLISHIf I were to describe this fifth episode in one word it would have to be CURRY.Two words: Curry Bun.It was quite curry-centered this time, and at the end of reading it I had developed quite an appetite for a nice hot curry. Why doesn't this manga comes with your own curry bun?It was once more a very nice read, even though there was a lack of shinigami, unfortunately. Great volume! There was a bit less variation (and a regrettable lack of fan service!) in this volume, since it was mostly taken up with the cooking competition (though just the appearance of Sebastian is close enough to fan service to count). Lots of interesting plot twists though, and the arc closed nicely and introduced the beginning of the next one by the end of the book. You can't help but love Queen Victoria, she's one badass granny, especially for a queen! I also really like Agni (Prince Soma I could take or leave, now that he's learned his important lesson, I get the feeling he's going to be comic relief from now on), and I was moved when he called Sebastian his friend - it was terribly touching, especially when Sebastian said Agni was the first person to say that to him! Mina turned out to be a grade-A bitch, but Soma showed some class, at long last, and Lau but the fear of God and kung fu into her and West, which was nicely satisfying! I am really looking forward to the next volume! I know (from the anime) that Grell is set to show up again sometime soon, and I'm on the edge of my seat! Even though he's so delightfully twisted (or perhaps because of it), when he shamelessly throws himself at Sebastian time and again, I can't help but feel I've found a kindred spirit! I love seeing how the manga turns out different from the anime - sometimes very different! - and so I'm really enjoying reading this series, and I hope the next book comes out soon!
What do You think about Black Butler, Tome 5 (2010)?
