1.5: The storyline was okay, i think it could have been better. The main reason I didn't like this book was because of the main character, she was very dependent on others and i believe for someone who was born in the supernatural world, a little too trusting (which was pointed out by another character in the book too). I don't particularly like how fast she got involved with Kane either, again because of the too trusting part. If one is interested in fast romance, a little heartbreak and some supernatural aspects in books, this book is for you, if not then avoid at all costs. :) I am totally Team Kane. I just love their chemistry. But they're complete idiots to let their love for each other crash and burn because neither of them could tell what creature the other was. I mean, it was pretty obvious he wasn't a simple human. All those phone she eavesdropped on and she never put two and two together. And don't get me started on the cages in the basement. In her defense, she pointed out her naive habits, but still. I originally read this book thinking it was a short story to satisfy a reading urge, but I was completely sucked in and I devoured all three books in three days.
What do You think about Blood's Fury (2014)?
I enjoyed this enough to buy the next in the series. I love the action, suspense and romance.
