One is tall and super buff. He looks like a linebacker, not part of the hospital staff. He glances at me and then at the other tech. “Give me just a second, Emmett.” Emmett nods. The linebacker pats me on the shoulder. “I’ll be right back. Hold tight.” “Sure,” I say, trying to twist around and see what all the ruckus is. I don’t have to though. A few seconds later, my tech and three other guys hold a beat and bloodied guy.
