Had Jessie mastered the art of frying bacon without burning it? He opened his eyes and took a moment to focus on the unfamiliar surroundings. Then he remembered. He’d spent the night with Fancy in her house, making love to her into the early hours of the morning. The bed beside him was empty, but her scent lingered in the sheets and pillows. Inhaling deeply, Colin rose and stepped into the adjoining bathroom. After a quick shower, he toweled dry and slipped into his jeans. He tucked one of the spare foil packages into his back pocket and then he went in search of the woman and the bacon, knowing what he wanted first. Fancy stood at the stove in the kitchen, barefoot, her blond hair pulled back from her face in a ponytail, and she wore his shirt with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows. And she appeared to be wearing nothing else. Holy hell. He reached for her and pulled her back against him.
