This by far was the best book, not only did it almost choke me up but there were a lot of decisions that Riley had to make, a lot of warnings to heed and still unfollowed. Lots going on, lots of action, lots of betrayal and then there is Kye, once again showing up. This book starts 6 months after the last book, and Riley is FINALLY giving Quinn a go. Which I'm extremely ecstatic about....and then there is the thorn in our side which is Kye. He's so cold, and I just don't get him at all. Definitely one of the better reads, will be interesting to see how Riley copes with the latest development. From start to finish this book had tension running through me. I knew the outcome I was looking so desperate for but I was so sure I wouldn't get it, as Keri continued to throw in as many possible obstacles to Rileys happiness as possible. While I did start to become frustrated with the growing pile of shit been piled on Rileys plate and just wonder if it was going to far, I simply have to hand it to Keri Arthur on this one. She has created a book which I could not physically bring myself to put down. Even when I get really into a book, I try and reason with myself. I do anything in my power to slow it down and read it over a good few days, slowing my pace and trying to savour the experience of been immersed in the characters world. However this book broke me down. I managed yesterday to read the first few chapters and leave it at that, but tonight when things really heated up there was nothing that could have stopped me finishing it in record time. Even as I sat, my jaw wide open in sheer horror at what was going on, I just had to keep going, I needed to know how it ended. My god, and what a way to end. I'm not sure what this book has done to me but I found myself sitting up in bed staring down at the rather blurry pages as I tried not to sob like a child. Thank you Keri, for providing me with an overall entertaining, and now slightly soggy, book. No doubt the final book in the series will do equal damage to the state of my nerves.
