Brangelina: The Untold Story Of Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie (2009) - Plot & Excerpts
I'm almost embarrassed to add this to my Goodreads list, but I did read it so I might as well 'fess up. This book is pretty much what I expected it to be with lots of extra filler (some interesting, some not). The author enjoys talking about himself and his exploits while "researching." I'm not sure how much of this book to believe as I found a mistake fairly early in the book (the author mentions that Brad Pitt attended school in the mid-70s, when he in fact graduated high school - according to wikipedia - in 1982). Take it with a grain of salt I guess. This was about the maximum intellectual stimulation my brain could handle this week. After reading it, I really dislike Jolie. Not for her outlandishness, which I think is great, but for her hypocrisy and lack of concern for others' feelings. The writing is really ridiculous, turning everything into an either/or question, not seeing nuance, doing pointless undercover investigation. However, it's the collation of quotes that makes it worth buying for $1 at the dollar store and reading.
What do You think about Brangelina: The Untold Story Of Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie (2009)?
Totally a pointless, worthless read.... but I kind of liked it. Junk food for the brain, I guess.
