Annata shook her head, refusing to let herself get worked up over him. He was just being himself. He hadn't miraculously changed over the weekend. Rolling her eyes, Annata shut herself inside her office, prepared to hide out. Just in case Christophe Van der Kind came to look for her. Not that he would. Her phone rang. “Where's my Vivvy?” Granny said, her voice slightly hysterical. “What?” “She never got off the plane.
