Wow. Wow. Wow. I really loved this story. I was kind of feeling lukewarm about Macsen in the first Sloan brothers book. But this book, Macsen & Emilia's story... Well, he was definitely not the Macsen I remember. This was such an all encompassing story of two very sad souls. It was pretty HOT too. There was no room for much else in this one. The main characters were very interesting and flowed well together. I really like Calia's writing when it comes to the chemistry between her characters. Its really raw and emotional. I remember the things I liked so much about Calia's 'Unravel' Novel I saw shadows of that here, between Emilia & Macsen, That 'together' they could form a safe haven for each other. It was also nice to find out more about the Sloan Family in this book too.Looking forward to more books by this Author. soo... im going to read it but im nervous bc im afraid about liking Emilia. but i guess i will just have to put my faith in Calia Read that she will make me fall in love with both Emilia and Macsen, even though i never really hated Macsen, i couldn't. he was just so tragic. i hope Mathias gets a story bc i kind of want to read his more than i want to read Macsen's.. is that bad? possibly. but either way, im going to take the plunge and hope i like the heroine
