He reached out to see what had disturbed his sleep and couldn’t find anything wrong within his house, and nearly closed his eyes again when he felt her. His daughter, Emma…she had taken a mate. Moving to the upper levels of their borrowed home, he found that his sons were still asleep, and that the one that had been hired to watch them while they rested was sleeping himself in the kitchen.
