“So Kev who is your friend?” Annie blurts out. “Lacey.” He says putting his arm around her shoulders. “Lace, this is Brody, ma brother and his wife Annie.” They say hi and shake hands. “And this is Jazzy, Annie’s best friend and Eric’s assistant. And that is Eric, giving me the ‘don’t touch ma gurl’ look.” I giggle and Eric tightens his grip. I nudge him in the side. “Welcome to our home Lacey, please to meet you.” “Aye, thit's right, Eric bought the hoose.” “We bought the house.” Eric corrects him. “Jaz and I are buying it together.” Annie looks over at me and starts squealing. Brody claps Eric on the back and congrats go around. “Calm down Annie, we are just buying a house.” I say. “Yea, ok. He will propose soon. I can feel it.” “You are sadly mistaken. Anyways, Philip Philips?” I change the subject. “Got your tickets? Two weeks from yesterday is his concert!” I so can’t wait.
