I've been reading Karin Slaughter for years and look forward to every new release. BUSTED was a quick, captivating read that let me get to know Will Trent a little better. Slaughter's writing gets stronger with each book, and this novella is no exception. It's fast-paced and tells an interesting story while drawing more from Trent, his partner Faith Mitchell, and his boss, Amanda Wagner.I'm a crime fiction junkie and Slaughter satisfies every time. If you haven't read her books before, you can easily start with this short read. I think you'll be hooked, too. It was a good read. Gotta love Will Trent; that was an ingenious way to take down a perp without a gun. Loved the plotting. But I have to say my favorite part was...the preview of the book coming out 7/2. I usually don't read previews, because by the time the book actually gets released they leave me with that deja vu feeling like haven't I already read this...but I read the first paragraph and jumped for joy when I saw Lena's name. Other than Will she is my favorite character. Now I've got to lose 5 pounds so I can buy the book that is priced over $9.99!
What do You think about Busted (Novella) (2013)?
Okay, but I'm always disappointed in short stories.
