Only she couldn’t charge by the hour. She’d taken nearly the entire afternoon to complete the hallway. The only light inside the bedroom came from the half-closed bathroom door, the sound of the shower alerting him where she was. He smiled. This was something they hadn’t done. Showering together. He stripped quickly, leaving his weapon on the nightstand and his clothes on the floor.
