√I really warmed up to this book as I read on...In the opening pages, I fought the urge to roll my eyes at the parahuman sex-crazed main characters and the mythology surrounding them. However, as I read on I started to relate to the characters as their human side began to crystallize, with their love seemingly the catalyst to the emergence of their intelligence and heart- both as individuals and as a couple. Awful cover! I had to make sure my daughter never saw it. I have no idea why the guy is blond either, in the book the hero is brunette. The beginning was normal paranormal, then once the heroine came in I started liking it. Ian demanded that she come suck his pee-pee and she had the gall to tell him no, go find someone else. That whole section was good. Then the ending felt rushed and a little sappy. I'll read other books by this author, but I'll put her lower on my TBR shelf.
