She sort of regretted giving him the cold shoulder at work, but not really. She was tempted to pretend she hadn’t slept with him. He made it difficult for her to remember that she wasn’t looking for forever with him. Hell, he’d as much as said more than once that forever wasn’t in the cards for him and still she was mooning over him and having hot dreams about him. So she was cranky when she arrived at the helipad and saw Kat and Peter laughing together. She was annoyed by it. Probably because she was in an ornery mood from yesterday’s shoot and the fact that things seemed to be going great in everyone else’s life. Plus, she’d warned Kat that Peter was spoken for but every time she saw her assistant she was flirting with the man.
