This little story was so awesome! I loved how Pete helped Reagan when she needed someone more than any other moment in her life. He became her hero that day and I admire her for tracking him down, thanking him, and for being the one (through her father) responsible for giving him an amazing opportunity... she's a really inspirational character. The Camps Reagan's family held over the summers were so wonderful, helping so many children with additional needs. Whether they were deaf, wheelchair bound or autistic; their camp gave these children a place to have fun and to be themselves. Having an autistic child myself, it always makes me smile to read about others and to see all their different mannorisms. It was all written wonderfully by the author :)I love the Reed family! I would have to say this is my favorite in the series so far, and that's not a small feat because I really love Logan! Pete, the youngest among the Reed brothers, made some mistakes in hs life that landed him in prison for 2 years. From the previous books, he was playful, full of mischief & flirtatiousjust like his twin brother, Sam. I guess his tattoo "all for one, one for all" said everything about the Reed brothers. Their relationship was what I loved best in this series. The author captured the right mix of emphasizing the love & bond between brothers without being girly or mushy. Pete and Reagan first met in a not-so-ideal situation, but they both made an impact on each other. Working together at a camp for kids with disabilities brought them back together. I love Pete for his patience and sensitivity to the needs of others. I must admit I was surprised with the depth of his compassion. I guess I always thought of him as the guy who liked to pull pranks at his brothers and Emily. There were side characters that I really loved too. I cried hard about Maggie, even went to give my dog an extra hug. Gonzo made me smile a lot, TicTac made my heart break... and through it all, I continue to fall in love with the Reed brothers!
