Para fans S.A.M bersoraklah!!!!!!!!Cerita diawali oleh pencarian Luke ke Spanyol utk mencari pengantinnya yg ditinggalkan selama 8 thn. Bella, si pengantin yg ditinggalkan di biara Malaikat Patah sdh nyaris putus asa mau minggat dr biara tsb, namun untunglah keburu dijemput oleh Luke. Bella awalnya marah krn merasa spt bingkisan yg sdh terlupakan dan baru diingat kembali utk diambil (ini dikarenakan Bella tahu Luke terpaksa menjemputnya krn pernikahan mrk tidak bs dibatalkan).Dan sepanjang perjalanan, Bella benar2 merepotkan Luke. di hr pertama saja Bella sdh kabur dan Luke hrs mengejar dgn seekor keledai dan memakai pelana wanita. Akhirnya pd malam harinya setelah Bella digigit kutu, mrk bercinta utk pertama kalinya dan Luke baru sadar bhw Bella ternyata msh perawan. (yg berarti pembatalan semakin tidak mungkin dilakukan)Kemudian Bella minta ketemu dgn adik tirinya Perlita yg ada dibawah cengkeraman sepupu jahatnya, Ramon. Ramon yg mengetahui Bella sdh bersuami, lgs mengamuk dan mau membunuh Luke yg dgn entengnya membuat pernyataan muslihat bhw harta milik bawaan Bella sdh menjadi miliknya dan jika Luke terbunuh, Bella juga tidak.mendptkan apa2 kecuali hidup dlm belas kasihan ibunya dan saudarinya. Di lain pihak, Perlita yg sdh mjd simpanan Ramon ternyata tsk keberatan utk hidup sbg simpanan Ramon dgn masa depan tdk jelas. Mungkin kekurangannya justru di endingnya yg spt buku sblmnya yg kubaca...terlalu happy end... smua pihak menerima mrk malah tiba2 muncul kakek-nenek Bella ygbtdk pernah ditemui Bella. Tapi utk penggemar HR dan SAM, buku ini pasti memikat hati. This is possibly a 2.5 depending on the mood you catch me in.It took me ages but I finally got this blasted book out of my pocketbook which now feels too light for comfort. This is my first foray into Anne Gracie work (I actually believe this may be a debut novel of hers) and it's hard for me to say whether I would waste my time again. This is a strangely unorthodox romance novel- at least for me- in that much of the story happens away from England. Not just away from London and the Season, the ton and balls and tea parties, but England all together. I don't believe I cared for that small detail.Luke, a veteran military agent for England, is home after the war against Napoleon ceased and although all his friends from the army have found peace and settled down, Luke still battles dark demons from the war. It makes him unpleasant the entire novel; there was hardly a moment I empathized with the cantankerous brute. The war, however, held more than demons over his head. While fighting Napoleon forces in France, he had a chance encounter with a Spanish imp that led to an impetuous marriage. It's been 7 years since this marriage and the subsequent drop off at the nearby convent and he has no choice but to go fetch her with the present annulment request turned down.Luke finds his impish bride, Isabella, to be nothing like the woman he left 7 years ago. Bella is stubborn, untraditional, and thoroughly opinionated. It makes, at least, for charming conversation for part of the novel. The couple now united are swerving their way back to England on a time crunch as Luke has an important engagement with his sister. However, no story would be complete without the subplots that send the two off track a time or two. I got very bored with this type of plot. It was constant traveling which reminds me of another novel I rated rather poorly (although off-hand I couldn't tell you the title) as it adopted the same plot line. I also didn't care for the Spanish setting; call me particular but I tend to really enjoy English/Scottish/Irish set historical novels. You start heading too far into Europe and it lacks the familiarity I crave when picking up the familiar mass market paperback.I also found the characters to be annoying at best- Bella could be tolerated but Luke was just uncompassionate. He was too much tbe brooding hero; I became far too impatient and felt the need to say out loud a time or two "Luke, stop whining already you big baby!"So, all in all not the best romance I've read and sadly it's another to add to the streak of unimpressive texts to whittle away my time since the end of 2012.
What do You think about Capricho De Amor (2013)?
I loved this book it was really funny picturing him riding side saddle was just too much

A nice, sweet romance. Marriage of convenience is one of my favorite romance cliches.

Creo que le falta un poco de chispa y es muy previsible.
