(Re-read)There is just one word to describe this manga and that is cute! Cute cute cute!It's one of the classic magic girl mangas and has got everything you need for a smile. Sakura's crush on her older brothers friend, her adorable relationship with tomoyo and even Li's grumpiness!I haven't gone near cardcaptor sukura in such a long time, it was like a breath of fresh air. Sukura has a lot of relatable qualities for young girls and I can't wait to get the next one! I loved all of the outfits and how non-judgmentally the two orientation-nonconforming characters were portrayed; I didn't at all appreciate the frequent references to consumption and weight. Those issues won't be preventing me from reading the next book in the series, though, even though they did bother me. The illustrations are often very pretty, and I like most of the characters, especially Sakura's love interest.
