Carnaval De Amor: Aperitivos (2014) - Plot & Excerpts
I really enjoyed this book. I originally downloaded a free novella of the book which just showed how Jaden and Dr. Ivan met. I was hooked and purchased the full book. It was a great read. I thought the book was well written as the authors were able to make me feel a lot of the emotions of the characters. Jaden and Dr. Ivan were both strong characters and Jaden held her own in the relationship. I guess the best way to describe the love between these two character, was real. Their love felt right and you rooted for them as you were taken into the story. I can't wait for the next book. I'm having a bit of a hard time capturing my thoughts on this book. I liked it, it was sweet a certain points and struck me as a bit rough in others. I'm really not sure how I feel about the fact that it is partially autobiographical, it's just one of those things that kinda creeps me out a little bit. It also looks like the next two books travel into dark and tortured areas and that just isn't my cup of tea. While I agree that it is good to gather all the best things from a relationship and let go of the negatives, if I'm not guaranteed a happily ever after at the end of a book, or series, where the couple ends up together because their partner is the best part of love then I don't care to invest my time in it. sorry. I dont regret reading the book, as i said i liked it, but unless someone who has read all three books in the series can promise me the HEA i'll probably pass on the rest.
What do You think about Carnaval De Amor: Aperitivos (2014)?
Made it through 60% and putting it down. Feel like it would painful and pure torture to finish.

The relationship of Ivan and Jaden is too perfect in this book.
