Oh my...enjoyed this so much...I went straight into the sequel last night and didn't even think to mark this one "read"!!!! I am happy to say that I have truly come to a better understanding of the Jewish holidays...and all that they entail due to this book! It is always great to find a story that allows you to have a great read and to learn about something that is of interest to you also!!!! Now...about the guys...wow...where do you start! Some times just everyday life is hard...so multiply that by 1000 for the holidays...and there begins this story!!! As I said...half way through the next book...and things are going great for Seth and Lars...until....yes it is time for the holidays...again!!! 4.5 stars. What a lovely book! Our MCs, Seth and Lars, have been dating for a year, but Seth, who is out, is tired of living in Lars' closet, and when Lars breaks his promise to spend Hanukkah with Seth at his aunt and uncle's B&B in Whistler, Seth finally snaps. He gives up, breaks up with Lars, and in a rage, drives up to Canada alone. When he arrives, he realizes that his aunt and uncle are missing, but guests are arriving, and it's up to him to make sure that the guests are cared for and the place doesn't fall apart! Adding to his stress, Lars decides that he isn't ready to give up on the relationship after all, so he follows Seth up to Whistler and rather earnestly tries to regain Seth's trust and reconcile himself to the prospect of coming out. The plot follows Lars' efforts to win Seth back, Seth's and Lars' efforts to hold the B&B together, and the over-arching mystery of the aunt and uncle's disappearance. Ultimately, everything is resolved in ideal fashion: the guests have a wonderful time, the aunt and uncle return home, Lars comes out, and he and Seth are more in love than they were when the book began. This was an absolutely delightful holiday story!
