The villain invites the dashing hero to a fancy dinner. There will be drinking, dancing, a slinky black dress and then a bad monologue where said bad guy threatens the world. I've seen the movies. "Do you think she's out to finish what she started?" I asked, thinking that my getaway from Medusa had been entirely too easy.
