Malzieu es un escritor con un estilo muy personal, que a veces me enamora y a veces me empalaga. Aun así, a pesar de que hay momentos en los que está demasiado desbocado, disfruto de las historias que crea y su peculiar forma de escribir.La historia es entretenida, ligera y rápida de leer. Quizá hay demasiadas concesiones al protagonista necesarias para terminar como se espera de una novela de este estilo pero que me han dejado un poco indecisa con el resultado final. A pesar de las cosas que me han gustado menos (y no alcanza la calidad de "La Mecánica del Corazón") ha sido una buena lectura y tengo ganas de abordar los dos que me faltan del autor. I never thought I'd say this but it has too many metaphors. You are still tasting the word combination and the image one metaphor suggests when you are suddenly in the middle of another idea, leaving you no time to make connections and, simply, enjoy. It is also predictable, though that is not something necessarily bad. But the way in which the 'surprise' is later revealed does not, in my opinion, fulfill the expectations. On the other hand, the poems gathered and presented at the end are very beautiful, and actually the entire narrative when taken piece by piece, much like enjoying a pie over a couple of days instead of eating it all at once.
