Could the embarrassment of this get any worse? This was part of Stone’s den. They didn’t need to see her like this. Pamela nodded. “He went back to Prince George. You know that, don’t you?” Ali nodded. Her breaths came too fast. She had to get a grip. It was bad enough that they’d smelled her embarrassment. She’d be damned if they saw her as weak too. They could mention this to Stone, and she wouldn’t have them telling him she was howling for him. “Let him know Ali says hi if you talk to him.” She straightened, managing a smile. “I need to get back to work.” “We’ll be sure and do that.” Pamela cuddled into Gabe, and the two of them left her, heading toward the truck that Stone had picked her up on their one date. She watched them walk away, once again catching herself comparing notes as Gabe helped Pamela into the truck. He was the same size as Stone, walked just like Stone, but his manner was different. He treated Pamela like a delicate flower. Stone was more rough, and a hell of a lot sexier.
