Chibi Vampire, Vol. 14 (2009) - Plot & Excerpts

During the last chapter when they were just wrapping things up,I assumed it...would be a normal ending.WHY WOULD YOU WIPE HER MEMORY D:. THAT SERVED NO PURPOSE WHAT SO EVER! AHHHHHHH! I KNOW THAT SHE LIVED A HAPPY LIFE WITH KENTA. BUT WHY ERASE HER MEMORIES OF HER FAMILY AND EVERYTHING LIKE THAT?!T_T. When Kenta asked her about her family, post her mind wipe, and her answer "Don't you remember? I don't have a family.". Omg. His face. I almost cried during this chapter. Ugh. Just. Just.. Ugh.I am still highly confused about Sophie though . So she was a part of Karin, or something like that? And how exactly did she become the child XD. I am so confu..o.o.As I type this I just thought of something. She looks just like Karin. Well so does the grandmother o.o. Could this have happened before as well, to make them look exactly alike? I am confusing myself. I have so many questions o.o I was really looking forward to the final installment, but it was very disappointing. The story was difficult to follow, especially since it had been a few months since I read 13. And I just didn't care for the ending. I felt like the story went from funny and sweet to full-out melodrama. I hate that in TV shows (Comedy to Dramady) and I don't like it in books. It also seemed like this book was shorter than the others. Given all the space they had at the end, I think the author could have drawn (pun intended) things out a bit more.
