4.5 from me...only because I wish it had been longer. I loved this one. It was very hard being with Ella while she suffered, but every time she interacted with Cinder it warmed my heart so much! I understood how she felt when she spoke to him and it made me love them even more. They really had amazing chemistry, the story had a twist that made it so much deeper and it was fast paced. All great qualities in a book. It also made me want to read every book that was mentioned in the book. They sounded so interesting! As far as bad behavior...I didn't begrudge Ella any moment of bad behavior because she was healing from a major tragedy very quickly. Most people don't deal with the loss of such a close loved one that fast, she deserves some credit for that one. Her relationship with her dad was totally believable for me...if you haven't been there, you may not get it. The problems at school are pretty much dead on. Kids are mean! Brian was fab. Even though I was totally irritated with him, he completely redeemed himself as he grew the heck up. Yay Cinder! It was endearing and a breath of fresh air that I totally skipped going to sleep for to finish in one sitting. Loved! This book was a cheesy take off of Cinderella. I mostly read this because I was interested in the fact that the girl later got injury in the story and was insecure about herself while the man was a movie star playing a prince in his favorite book series turned movie. I only read this because I kind of like retellings of fairy tales as long as they have a twist on them. I was sad on how cheesy the book ended.
THIS BOOK WAS SO CUTE I CANT EVEN HANDLE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually loved this book so much.
