Wow, I just loved this book. The hot football star, Wyatt, and super sweet surgeon, Jenna! Their story was great! All Wyatt wants is to take care of his family, but his injury is making things difficult for him. When he connects with Jenna, an orthopedic surgeon, he makes plans to seduce her into giving him the diagnosis he needs which would include no surgery. Their relationship heats up and Wyatt is second guessing his motives. Jenna is a strong independent woman who is dealing with something that she is hiding from everyone including her best friends. The situations, relationships, and characters are so real and believable! I love that! And I once again just loved the amazing friendship between Jenna, Aubrey, and Althea (although Althea was a little distracted by Griffen..lol). An unexpected surprise that Claudia's story is next (she's Wyatt's sister)! Will be anxiously awaiting the next book! The teaser at the end of this book has me excited...... I highly recommend these books! This is the story of Jenna and Wyatt. We met Jenna in Three Rivers and we know her as Althea’s best friend who moves back to help Althea raise her son when her husband dies.Jenna is a surgeon and is a very strong willed woman. She is hesitant to let anyone too close to her and she has a nasty habit of keeping the truth from people.Wyatt is a cocky, self-assured, wealthy NFL Quarterback who injures himself and has to take some time off to recover.Jenna and Wyatt first meet at a game and Wyatt is enamoured with her. Jenna has been following his career and she is also taken with him, though she strongly denies it. Wyatt convinces Jenna to help him out professionally with his injury but he also wants her personally and to do that, he will have to crack her tough exterior. The sparks between these two are evident at every meeting and you are just waiting for the moment when they take that leap and get it on.Their relationship is tested and drama ensues and I found myself wanting to smack Wyatt for his mistake. Wyatt will need to fight for Jenna if he wants any chance of her forgiving him.I cannot wait to read more of Chloe’s work. Her stories flow so well together, her storylines are always different and I love all of her characters.I was given a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review. Reviewed by Tanya.
