The reason I chose this book was because I had nothing else to read. I thought that the book would be really interesting because if you look at the cover it seems interesting.Logan is a kid that just moved into town and was told a mysterious story about the house he lives in. Rumors were said that someone's grandmother was murdered in the house. Logan starts befriending Arthur, but Logan's mom despises that kid. I was really impressed on how an author can make a kid really unlikable. In the book it states," Arthur showed up after lunch, just in time to wold down at least half a bag of fancy chocolate chip cookies." The cookies were Logan's mom's favorites. However, without asking Arthur just ate it without permission as if he owns the house. This book taught me really nothing since it was a mystery-like story. The only thing I learned is to not move into a small town that has murderous rumors. So, okay. This book kinda took me three books to read- meaning basically three days of actual reading and the rest of procrastination.I read the bulk of the book in two days, and it was actually pretty interesting after i finally got myself to start reading it and to get it over with...SO THE REST OF THIS KINDA HAS A FEW SMALL SPOILERS- READ AT YOUR OWN WILLSo, at the beginning, I friggin HATED the one and only dumb af kid ARTHUR! give him an applause!always getting in everyone's business, tryin to "solve the mystery" and to get in the papersokay, so i kinda started to feel bad for the kid, but SHUT TF UP. godNow, logan, i actually thought he was cool at the beginning, but NOOOOOOOOOhe's a nerd, that's a hinti kinda didn't really like the character or hate him, but i guess he was okayand then there's logan's friggin momgotta be so cool and so hip, draggin him to the poopular kids' parties.always listening to rhonda and tryin to hook him up with anthonygod, when was logan's name monica?get it? LOLOL MONICA, ANTHONY? MONITHONY? ok i crack myself upbut yeah, overall, the book was pretty good, i gotta sayALTHOUGH I KINDA KNEW THE MURDERER WAS MR. DISILVIO THE WHOLE TIME OMG WTFgod ugh that suckedthere was no mysterybut oops i kinda had a hitch that it could be arthur's grandma for a while, but i gave up on that

Fast read, fun characters, good characterization, and good figurative language.
