This story is about a lady named Savannah McLaughlin. It is the third and last book to the Duty Series and is definitely a great book. She goes through some struggles and ends up suffering from an injury by jumping out from a moving car. She must try to escape from a man by the name of Mario Ferrante. She knows she can't trust this man because he wants her dead. Savannah's love interest is Christopher Dane, a man who has always avoided commitment, but finally declared his feelings for her in a dramatic way. Somehow Major Dane had ended up in the wrong hands as well and now it's up to his team to help get him out of trouble. They have not made this into a movie, but I would love to see it in one. Maybe one day they may make it into a movie. This last story to the Duty Series was very good. It was well written and made me kind of sad to think the series was over. You get to know the characters in this story very well and soon get to love the characters. The author is an amazing author and I absolutely love her books. Again, I also really enjoyed this series because it was clean, and didn't have anything inappropriate in the books. From the comments I've read, I seem to be the only one who was bugged that a character who supposedly died in the 2nd book is alive and well in the 3rd book, yet nobody in the book seems surprised by it? It's like the author forgot she killed him off.Glad it changed pace from books 1 & 2 -- a good read if you don't analyze the unlikelihood of a civilian being involved with a military operation.
What do You think about Code Of Honor (2009)?
Another great book that wraps up The Duty Series. I keeps you guessing through the entire thing.
