I loved Aaron Stander's voice.I loved his characters...though there were a few too many.I would almost volunteer to re-edit this for Aaron...to make it pop...which it easily could do. There are too many scenes that don't add to the plot...too much in-the-head pondering for the amount of action. This would be a much better read if it was 6-7,000 fewer words. And Aaron has GOT to learn how to do tags.I made it through the book by keeping my eyes off of them. Horrendous. That said, I will look for more by the author. My sister Sandi gave me the first in this series for my birthday last year, and I'm following up by interlibrary loaning the others. I hope the author keeps writing! That's really 4.5 stars up there; it would have been an excellent book for me save for one plot twist. In this book I enjoyed the northern Michigan setting, the police procedural aspects, the small town atmosphere, and the interesting mystery--who killed a popular local teacher and her boyfriend?Recommended!
What do You think about Color Tour (2006)?
too many crimes tied in together. I did not like the abrupt ending. well written but a bit wordy.

Another good mystery in this series. I am looking forward to reading the rest.

I enjoyed reading the book but I would like the ending written better.
