Copy from Netgalley3.5 stars.Rock stars...who doesn't love them? I know I do, and I love reading about their crazy lives. This book was based on Xane life in the limelight, or should that be the lack of limelight! The premise for this book was one that I was looking forward to reading, but some bits just didn't work for me. The ideas were there but...I don't know it just didn't seem to mesh all the time for me. Now that being said there is a good chance that I will read the next part! 3.5 starsI enjoyed this book. Dani was the perfect mix of inexperienced girl with that desire to be bad. And Xane was the rock god who also was feeling pretty down. Dani was exactly what he needed and I think he was exactly what she needed too. I look forward to more of her story coming out. Xane wasn't quite what I expected. He had the typical rock star ego, but he also was very vulnerable. The story starts with the band breaking up, but it isn't completely clear as to what is going on in Xane's head that is causing the split. Things are revealed slowly to both Dani and the reader which keeps things interesting. I didn't like that things aren't resolved with anything at the end. But it isn't a huge cliffhanger that would leave a reader feeling upset. I plan to continue with Xane and Dani's story to see what else we learn about them and how things progress with the band.
What do You think about Come Undone (2013)?
I liked this one. It was different from other typical rock star reads. Interested to read more.
