Overall it was a fun read. I was so surprised when the killer was revealed. I really would have never guessed who it was but then there weren't a lot of clues to the killer's identity. Morty the cat continues to be quite a fun and quirky persona. Although I am an animal lover, the addition of an animal character in cozies tends to irritate me slightly but I love Morty. He adds some humour to the book and his behaviour made me laugh out loud more than once. I found Granny Gert to be extremely annoying and her character a distraction from the rest of the book. Don't get me wrong, it added to the humour but it was a little too over the top for me. Sadly it looks like she's set to reappear in this series. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series. Maybe Granny will grow on me, who knows. I enjoyed this book even more than I did the first one in the series. The characters are really growing on me. Sunny Meadows is such a charming heroine. I can't wait to see what kind of trouble she gets into next. I especially love Granny Gert. She is such a hoot and determined to get her driver's license at the age of 79. I'm a little mad at Mitch because of the way he is acting towards Sunny. I'm hoping he can redeem himself since she can't shake her attraction to him. The mystery was really good as well. There were a lot of little twists. I also love the appearances of Morty the magical cat. This is a series I will definitely continue reading.
Loved the book. Good continuation of the series. Looking forward to the 3rd book.

Great book. Didn't see the ending coming at all. The romance is heating up!
