Second book in the series and boy it's non stop suspense/action/romance all the way. Kaylea found her niche writing about Alpha males that are so drool worthy enveloping a strong, sexy female character by his side. Man you can imagine yourself being the female. Cover of Darkness will get your adrenaline running wild. Great story telling that flows effortlessly creating imagery that pops off the page. Loved it and can't wait to dive into the next story in line. In my review of the first book in this series i said i liked Hutch's dad Luke. Well Luke was in this book and i didn't really like him at all...i can see where it is going and i'm sure he becomes a wonderful hero too but in this book he was an asshole. So Cover of Darkness was a really really good army suspence novel, and the romance that was there was pretty good too. A bit more wouldn't have hurt!! I really liked Declan and he and Bryn had a strong bond all the way through the book. The story was believable and fast paced but there were too many parts that were overly described.
Love all the books written by Kaylea Cross.
