This is one of those books that if you read the series from the start, you will see that this is one of those rare series that will really keep impressing you. I loved the first two and I thought nothing could be better. But, when you put Cody and Farrah together, you get one hot love story that certainly wasn’t easy for either of them.Cody aka Casper was Callie’s brother from the previous book and Farrah was her best friend. Farrah was so broken and was drowning herself in her sorrows. “You are by far the strongest woman I’ve ever met, and I am the luckiest man on the planet.” - CasperCody was a college guy going to Yale but when things changed in book two, he knew he wanted to be near his family and the more he was around Grease in the Aces MC, he knew college wasn’t for him and he wanted to be a member of the club.He and Farrah had always had feelings for each other but he knew she needed time to find herself before they could be together. So, when trying to protect Brenna (from book one) who is another brother’s woman and he is shot, he goes back to Farrah. He knows he wants her and they have this undeniable attraction that neither one of them can deny. Because of her father being a member of the club and her hating him for all of her life, she didn’t want the club life. But who could really deny Cody? This is one couple that had me pulling for them from the start and I loved seeing how each of them grow throughout this book. They were certainly scorching hot, that is a definite in this book!! “I am in love with you. There is not one thing I wouldn’t do for you. I’d kill for you. I’d die for you. No hesitation, no questions.” - CasperAs much as Cody did seem to lose patience with Farrah, when the club was endangered by enemies, her dad wanted to save her by sending her away. I think that as they say “absence makes the heart grow fonder” because you could really feel how much they belonged together and I wanted them back together so much!! Throw a little twist into the mix and you know fate intervened.Cody sure had me swooning (and I even might have been drooling over him!) and his love for Farrah was simply amazing. You just knew they were meant to be together from the start but yet they didn’t have an easy road at all!! As Farrah learned more information about her father, Cody stood by her side and didn’t let her down.“’Handsome comes and goes, but if a man’s face is dear to you no matter how wrinkled he gets? Well, that’s worth keeping.’ And Cody’s face was dear to me.” One thing I loved about this book is that you get all the characters from both of the previous books mingled into this book as well. It made me feel like I was part of their club and living the life with them. I just love all of the couples and my only complaint is that I don’t want it to end. I want more of the Aces MC!!! I said when I read the last book in the series that I didn't know if I would continue. I have to say I was livid with the results of the last book. I also said I would wait longer and see what the reviews for this would be but I didn't really wait that long. I have to say I'm glad I went ahead and read this one. It wasn't perfect but it was an enjoyable read and in my opinion has redeemed this series for me.
What do You think about Craving Absolution (2014)?
This book was a bit too long but I really enjoyed it.
