As our heroine deals with something that is close to everyone's heart, the death of a close relative and the problems around receiving the inheritance this also brings along change and with change new people and problems crop up. As she moves into her aunts property and meets her new love the story really begins?I really liked the dirty tricks and dodgy dealings of the lawyer and how he tries to try and hide his real motives which is apparent in everyday life as well as the people he uses and employs to maintain his lifestyle. The author did a great job at describing the characters bringing them to life throughout the story, I could easily imagine how they would be acting and even reminded me of a couple of people I know. This is the first book in a series, I cannot wait to read the next one, a totally enthralling read.An excellent debut novel which I really enjoyed, easy to read and follow, full of emotion and personal conflict which builds to an excellent crescendo with an nail biting twist, a must read for all chick lit fans. I loved Madison Westin’s character. She was so strong and independent. I wish that I could be a more strong and able woman to do things for myself and just make decisions that were for me. I always second guess and tend to look for others for guidance and approval. Reading about women who are strong and know what they want out of life always gives me the motivation to want to do this for myself. Madison has now inherited her aunt’s motel, which in itself is a lot to undertake. There are some crazy tenants that stay there that are making the adjustment hard. On top of that one of the hired managers is bragging that he is in fact the owner of the motel. What the heck! A lawyer is giving her advice that she just needs to sell the place and not waste her time. At first, that seems like the best idea (and probably what I would have done because of all the responsibility and hassle). Her mother could care less about any of that and just wants her to settle down. That’s any mother’s dream for their children is to be happy and settle down. This book definitely tickled all my fancies when Zach was introduced. What a piece of hotness to add to life’s little messes that seem to find us. He is the ultimate boyfriend because he has just the right amount of mystery and danger to make you want to know more and more about him. He would also be great to cuddle with too, of course. Trouble and mystery seem to follow Madison as well as CRAZY times, but aren’t we all a little crazy? So kick back and let your work week leave at the door. This story is fun and steamy and lacks nothing in the entertainment department. Five stars for a take me away read that will surely leave you thrilled.I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

One of the best mysteries I've ever read! I can't wait to read the next in the series.
