Croak (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

I really liked it! it was a bit difficult for me to connect to the main corrector in the beginning but as the story went on I really did connect. The plot was fairly straight forward,( I mean with so simple deductions you could have guessed who the antagonist was.) I loved some of the word choice in this book, how some things were phrases really made the book come to life!! This book also kept me laughing no matter what the situation, It was very ironic how a book about killing people could be, at parts, so light-hearted. I think there could have been a better job when describing a certain characters death, but other then that i think i it was a good book and i look forward to reading the next one. Technically, I give this book four and a half stars, but it made me laugh more than once, so I'm giving an extra half star.Because I don't laugh for books. I just don't. It's not that I don't find them funny or amusing. It's just too much effort to laugh when you could be getting on with the story. But, this book was hilarious. And, yeah, the story and characters were good too, blah blah blah, I actually liked Lex, blah blah blah, and so on. But it was funny. And that's really all I remember, to be honest.
