I liked the idea and how The Crosseds are, it's much better than the way that zombies behave because they aren't slow, they can think and adapt, they are like a bunch of crazies-sadistic-murderers... so... It's better than Zombies, but just in my opinion. The only thing that I need to complain about is the plot.I think the plot sometimes need to be more complete and show us more about the characters and their lives before the holocaust, because when you know more about the character you can make more deep connections with it and feel more things when someone died.I said that because sometimes someone die in the book but you don't care, because you haven't created deep connections or feelings with the characters. But it's a good comic book! I hope the others books of this series has a better plot. I know a lot of people just read this and think how sick and twisted it is because it really is both of those things. However, there is a lesson I think behind the series: no matter how much humanity has gone down the drain, you can still find people who stick together to try and overcome it. It's about hope (even if in a sadistic world) and believing that things can change and get better eventually. If you go into this series just focusing on all the vileness, then you aren't going to enjoy it at all. You need to keep an open mind and read in between the lines.
well written, but extremely distrurbing. liked it but, was unnerved by the imagery.

Amazing, but an awful lot like The Walking Dead. Packs a bit more punch at times.
