Just finished the third book in this series, only to discover it's NOT a trilogy! The saga of codependence will continue. Why is Megumi sick? What will happen with Tatiana's baby? Will those crazy kids, Corinne and Jean-Francois, ever work it out? And what will happen when one day either Gideon or Eva "has a headache"? Apparently we will eventually be blessed with the answers--well maybe not to that last one, because these are VERY fictional characters.I'm glad Eva doesn't think Gideon is cheating on her every 5 seconds in this book--it's more like every 15. So an improvement. I am actually curious about the sapphire bracelet subplot. I think the sex has pretty much gone through its paces, which were very hot, but not too much new in this book (except the "flowering" of certain orifices). I was suprised to find myself happier to read this book, with E and G so happy with each other. I was kind of annoyed that Eva STILL let Gideon tap that when she really should have been yelling at him. Their codependence is pretty overwhelming, but I guess that just makes for beaucoup de sex scenes, which after all is really the point of this series. What? after reading 3 novel in this series I still do not know what is going on, what has happened and if I want to know I'm going to have to read two more repetitious books to finally find out. I was sure I would like this better than FSOG but I did not like it even near as much. Those books at least somewhat stood on their own and these well, not at all. It was a struggle to finish three so I wont even attempt to read 4 & 5. I can pretty much figure out what happens anyway, they will argue, they will have sex, they will love each other and remain hot, beautiful, and wealthy, they will have more sex, argue some more, be terrible for each other and the best things for each other, they will be jealous of each others past loves and so on and so on and.....
