Crossing The Lines (2014) - Plot & Excerpts

Menage and BDSM made accessible and written with heart. This was the perfect sequel to Playing the Game. We've got the same three lovable characters, Alice, Henry, and Jay, but the stakes are higher and the action is hotter.I'm blown away by MQ's writing. She nails the insecurities of someone who has been burned by love and is just looking for a light, sexy fling to occupy her time. Alice is enjoying the no-strings arrangement she has with her neighbors, but her heart craves more...even if she won't admit it to herself.I couldn't put this one down. It's sweet, steamy, exciting, and heart-wrenching. I loved every minute I spent in Alice's head.Highly recommended! After reading the first book in this series, Playing the Game, I wanted to get my own Henry & Jay. Now, I really, really, really want my own set! This series just keeps getting better. As Alice spends more time with the guys, she starts to feel things she never felt before - attachment, jealousy, wanting something more. But, she has a contract to live by, which doesn't give her the right for these other things, at least that's how she sees it. Even though Henry has told her to come to him with anything related to their relationship, Alice doesn't feel she has the right to ask for more. I could feel Alice's pain and at times the story almost brought me to tears. We get to learn a bit more about these characters outside of their every-other-Friday-night get together and I liked all of them even more. I was so bummed to realize the next installment isn't out for another week - I can't wait for the continuation of their story!

What do You think about Crossing The Lines (2014)?

Like how the three-way relationship gets deeper, especially after Jay's opening accident.
