Wow! I loved the first book in this series, and book two was even better! An emotional journey with Jade and Daniel, I could hardly put it down. Hunter takes on a difficult topic and does it well. From the very beginning, you're drawn into Jade's story and hoping she's finally going to get her happy ending. And Daniel is quite the good guy/big brother/hero. I didn't want their story to end. Loved this book! I was given this book by a friend who attended a library conference. It was pretty good. Cleaner than other romance stories and one with a good message. The message was to love when you can because you just don't know when you may not have them to love. Jade has been through a lot. A date-rape, death of a boyfriend, and an unwanted pregnancy which she soon realizes that no matter what the father did, she could still love the baby. It took some time for her to not be afraid of loving people, but in the end she came to her senses. Lucky for her that someone loved her for many years even through all of the trials she went through and kept on loving her even when she rejected him. That is a heart warming thought to have someone love you that much.
