I like the works by this author, but I don't enjoy this book as I hoped.Gabriel is misled by his half-brother that Hannah is a villain, an angel-of-death nurse who might harm his ill mother. So Gabriel took the security job and watched her every movements, literally. While doing that, he also fulfilled his desire of watching a woman of his dream. He eavesdropped her conversation, disguised himself as another man and called to flirt with her. If you ask me, after reading half of this book, I'd say this Gabriel is a psycho, and not very bright. His actions later didn't help me like him more. So he lied--many times, he spied, and he used Hannah, and then he got her love in the end? Ok, he had his reasons and suffered for a while, but still it's too easy for me. I don't feel the romance here. I don't like the hero very much. Maybe I have watched Criminal Minds far too much. I LOVED Hannah's character! I totally thought I had it all nailed down those first few chapters but the plot kept taking turns and it kept getting so much better! Hannah had a rough patch and thought she found a savior, but he was a devil in sheep clothing! I loved how Gabriel gets involved and how the romance forms. I felt the reactions and emotions written in this book were very realistic and felt I would have reacted in the same ways. I really enjoyed finally seeing Gabriel find love and I loved seeing the whole series come together to a wonderful ending!
What do You think about Danger In A Red Dress (2009)?
It was good, but it feels like it's missing something.
