Dans Les Coulisses De Game Of Thrones - Le Trône De Fer (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

If you are a GoT fan you must read this book! The book is gorgeous and for those who are confused by the genealogy charts in the actual novels- this book offers a simpler version with photos of the actors who play various characters so for those who are still struggling to put names with faces this will be a huge help. Lots of behind the scene info about sets, costumes, and actor interviews are included. It gives a really nice overview of the show. Fans this is a must read! THE ratings juggernaut that is HBO’s Game of Thrones has been brought to life on the printed page by Bryan Cogman, one of the show’s writers, in this hardcover companion book that reveals the elaborate and painstaking process of bringing George RR Martin’s best-selling novel series, A Song of Ice and Fire, to the screen. With a foreword by author Martin and an introduction by show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the full-colour book features character profiles, family trees, production photographs, costume designs, maps and interviews with cast and crew.Chapters are comprehensive and enthralling. Chapter One , for example, The Wall, begins with a brief history of the White Walkers; Winter is Coming: cast and effects crew discuss how they brought the winter wasteland of the far north to life; The Night’s Watch: A Brief History; Designing The Wall and Castle Black: Costuming The Night’s Watch; Jon Snow (character profile with interviews with actor Kit Harrington and writers Benioff & Weiss); Samwell Tarly (character profile). Other chapters include: Beyond the Wall; Winterfell; Kings Landing; Westeros; and Essos. Inside HBO’s Game of Thrones should help even the most diehard fan make it through to the season three kick-off in late March.

What do You think about Dans Les Coulisses De Game Of Thrones - Le Trône De Fer (2012)?

This book is a nice introduction of what the HBO series is going to show from The Song of Ice and Fire series. It was aesthetically pleasing, every picture looked gorgeous, i loved the way the character's profiles were presented, as old papers - perhaps, how the King's Landing newspaper looks like, or would look like. It's a beautiful guide to the show and book series, you keep yourself in track of who is who and what family do they come from. There is also a lot of information from behind the scenes, something I love to read about epic TV shows and movies. I wish I had a similar book like Inside HBO's Game of Thrones for The Lord of The rings. The entire crew behind it was very thoughtful and I highly appreciate their work!I just wish there would be more information about the dragons. Although I know we don't know much from the show, but I wish the book would talk about the magical animals in the world of ASOIAF, like dragons and unicorns. And I would like to know the making-of of the dragons and direwolves. How incredible looking and realistic they are! Also the opening credits, who doesn't love the opening credits of Game of Thrones? This book left me curious about information i can't find, which is upsetting.

Inside HBO's Game of Thrones compiles, photos, interviews, background and all manner of behind the scenes type paraphernalia related to the awesome Game of Thrones TV series.Fans of the TV series alone will find an enjoyable summary of characters and locales. Fans of the books will probably enjoy the insights from show creators and actors, into the characters. Reading this will not provide any further insight into the world than from the novels however, so only really recommended for truly devoted fans of the television show in particular. For a highlight checkout the odd practical jokes played on the actors - revealed on the last few pages.

It's a great collector's item.
