Jory Richards snapped. He looked away for fear his lover of five years was going to see just how angry he was. For some reason his emotions had been all over the place the last few weeks. Pressures at work and the stresses of paying the increasing bills had made him cranky. Cranky? Bullshit. His anger level was downright nasty. He stole a glance at Randy and could tell the man was seething. As an ex Marine, Randy Parker had to have things just so. There was no getting out of line, let alone moving outside the proverbial damn box. Everything, including behavior, was required to be on the up and up. Well, he’d been failing miserably at pretty much everything lately. Sniffing, Randy sat quietly gazing toward the ball field, cool as a cucumber. He said nothing for a few minutes. Shifting back and forth on the bench seat, he grabbed a tall cup from beside his right leg and took a gulp.
